The Corning Erwin Area Transit System (CEATS) is the public transportation service dedicated to providing safe, convenient and affordable transportation. Frequent service is provided to Corning Community College, work centers, health clinics, Guthrie, retirement homes, shopping center, restaurants, and entertainment areas in Corning, Painted Post, Gang Mills and Coopers Plains.

Hornell Area Transit

Established thirty years ago, Hornell area Transit is dedicated to providing quality and reliable transportation services to our clients. Hornell Area Transit is a Public Transportation service sponsored by the City of Hornell for residents of the city, and surrounding areas.


Hornell Area Transit drivers are courteous, fully licensed and insured. Public Transportation is an open to the public service available for a modest fare, to anybody who would like a ride. The vehicles are equipped with 2-way radios for communications, public address systems, high-end stereos, most of our buses have bike racks for your convenience, and ALL are wheelchair accessable. The buses have both front & rear A/C & Heating Systems for your riding comfort.

Schuyler County Transit

Schuyler County Transit is operated by The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler under contract with Schuyler County.


The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler is a family-based organization, providing supports to people with varying abilities. We create opportunities for individual growth while emphasizing choice. Our passion for excellence is evidenced by our family and community partnerships, quality supports, education, and advocacy. Schuyler County Transit, established in 2010 was created to meet the transportation needs of residents and visitors of Schuyler County.

Medicaid Answering Service

Provides transportation services to Medicaid beneficiaries so that they can get to medical appointments.


Medicaid will pay for the most medically appropriate and cost-effective level of transportation to and from services covered by the Medicaid Program. 


Medicaid Enrollees that are eligible for Medicaid transportation must qualify on a needs basis to get transportation to and from medical appointments under the New York State Department of Health Program scheduled by the Medical Answering Service (MAS).
